The 12 Days of Christmas - Day Seven

On this seventh day of Christmas, I'm giving my son one of his favorite things -- a nice mug of hot cocoa.

On the seventh day of Christmas, my mama gave to me
Seven mini-marshmallows (in hot chocolate)
Six hours of "just-us" time
Five awesome books
Four favorite friends
Three love notes
Two chocolates
And a special cookie just for me

One of the best things about winter is having hot chocolate after a fun day of playing outside in the snow or cold. My son loves to have his with baby marshmallows. I try to limit him to about 7 to 10 -- otherwise he would probably eat half a bag! All you need is some cocoa powder, milk, raw sugar and vanilla, and the most important ingredient of all -- lots of love.
