For day three of my version of Twelve Days of Christmas, I'm tucking three love notes into my son's stocking. He used to write me little love notes all the time when he was a toddler and preschooler (okay, so they were little more than heartfelt scribbles back then). This year, I want to return the gesture. I've kept many of the notes he's given me over the years, but they're really stored away in my memories and in my heart. I hope he loves my notes as much as I loved his!
On the third day of Christmas, my mama gave to me
Three love notes
Two chocolates
And a special cookie just for me
