Cool Ideas for a Hot Weekend
Have a Party!

Are you the extrovert in the neighborhood? Then get the neighbors, friends, and family together for an impromptu party. Let everyone bring their own lawn chairs, some favorite CD's, a food dish, or their own steak. My brother always keeps a few strings of Christmas lights handy to place around the deck for a campy party atmosphere. It works, especially if they are colored lights. Light the citronella candles; ice down the beer and cokes; light the grill; turn up the boom box; and party!

I was raving about a dip at a friend's party recently. Turns out it was simply 2 8oz. blocks of cream cheese, mixed with a small jar of picante sauce. Served with Fritos, it doesn't get any better, or easier, than that.
