And of course, tucking in a little note to say how much you are thinking about your child and love him will be sure to put a smile on his face. (Try to gauge whether or not this is something your child will want. Some older kids may be embarrassed rather than tickled or comforted by a love note from mom so this might work best for kindergarten and first grade children.)
