Reading:
Read a chapter book this week. Pick out a few at the library that look interesting. You probably can't read every word, but just keep on going and try to figure out what is happening in the story.
Or, let Mom or Dad read a chapter to you every evening until you have finished the book.
[Parent: Find a transitional "chapter book" at the library. Check for the Stepping Stones series for fiction that appeals to kids who are at a transitional reading level. Or, pick out a classic children's book such as The House on Pooh Corner and read the book to your young child.
