EEEEKKKK!
STOP.
I had to get out of bed and write it all down. The final shopping list, the menu, and a day-by-day schedule for the next three days. I found that when I wrote it all down, it didn't seem so overwhelming. My first resolution, I'm NOT going back to the mall. It's just too tempting, and I don't want to blow my budget.
So, today I'm wrapping the rest of my presents and going to the grocery store to get everything I need to do my cooking little bits at a time. I'll run in Wal-Mart and get two tins of popcorn. That's ALL I'm buying. I swear!
OK, so I've got my plan written down. I've crossed off some toys on my list because they have plenty. I know what I'm going to cook. I'm ready. Now, maybe I can get back to sleep.
*Tip - If you are still without a special toy that is hard to find, you might have better luck searching for it online or calling around by phone. Even if you have to pay Next-Day shipping, you'll save at least that much in gas and exhaustion if you went all over town looking. Here's a tip: Call the stores around 7:00 in the morning to check on new shipments.
