Thanksgiving was a feast-fest for my family this year, which means, for me, a few extra trips to the gym and a run in the park this week. But it also got me thinking about the upcoming holidays, and how I can make desserts a bit healthier.
Thanks to Melissa Iwai, the amazing cook, writer, and artist of the blog The Hungry Artist, I can make delicious (and easy!) peanut butter truffles and a to-die-for veggie-packed double-chocolate zucchini bread to eat and give out as gifts this year. And frozen yogurt-covered grapes? That's a great treat for anytime of the year.
Check out these video recipes for healthy desserts for kids. I'm sure you'll love her recipes as much as my family did!
